What is your cancellation policy?
A: We kindly ask that you let us know as early as possible if you can’t make your appointment. If you cancel less than 24 hours before your appointment, a 100% fee will be attached to your next appointment. The fee amount will depend on the appointment that you were booked in for.
How do I book in?
A: The best way to book, contact us directly or email and we can find a time that suits.
How long does it take to get an appointment?
A: Appointments vary, after hours or weekends take at least 6 weeks to get in so make sure you book ahead. If you’re flexible you’ll be able to grab something sooner!
How long will my appt. take?
A: For a cut and colour allow at least 2.5 hours on average. For a haircut only, allow 1 hour.
What type of extensions do you use?
A: We use tape hair extensions (we love them) and the brand we use is ‘seamless’.
How do we keep our clients happy?
A: We have a two-week cut and colour happiness guarantee. If you’re unhappy and want your colour fixed, you must notify Cali Studio within two weeks of your original appointment. Provided no one else has touched it, I will do my best to get you in and work together to make you happy. Please note we do not offer refunds.
Bridal
Will you travel to my location?
A: Yes, of course we will. We’re happy to travel anywhere around Canberra or interstate to help make your day relaxing and less stressed.
Do you offer hair extensions?
A: We are extensions lovers. We can apply some tape-in extensions in salon or we can source clip-in extensions.
What if I’m not sure what to do with my hair?
A: That’s ok, we can work together to work out what you like best. Through a chat or even a trial at your next appointment we can work something out for you.
Should I have a trial? Can it be before I secure you for my date?
A: Yes, a trial is compulsory before the wedding. Even more than one. Just keep in mind your date won’t be locked in without a deposit.
How long does it take to do my hair?
A: You need to allow at least 1 hour and 30 for the bride. This ensures we have enough time for veil, clips and some cute pictures for instagram at the end.
Do you have a minimum or maximum number of people per booking?
A: Yes, I have a minimum of 1 bride and 3 bridesmaids for existing clients. Maximums are negotiable and we can always find more help for large groups. Please get in touch with us to confirm your bridal party size and requirements.
